"Know your HIV status" - the first 90of the ‘90-90-90’ goal of ensuring that all people living with HIV get life-saving treatment and prevent future transmission. Adolescent girls in particular are at high risk of HIV. To make testing easier for them, we have started to offer self-testing at three of our adolescent centers including Lumumba, Kisumu County Hospital, and Ahero sub County Hospital. Being able to test at home and at their own convenience reduces barriers to testing and empowers girls and young women to take greater charge of their health.
